Vic: Unions vow to push for talks over Yallourn dispute
MELBOURNE, Feb 3 AAP - Unions involved in the Yallourn Energy power dispute have vowed
to push for talks in the wake of the company's decision to lock out hundreds of its workers
without pay.
Australian Services Union (ASU) branch secretary Michael Rizzo said there were no talks
scheduled with the company tomorrow, but the unions were willing to continue negotiations.
But he said the company would have to show good faith by stopping some of its actions,
such as the legal action to sue and the lockouts.
