Vic: ADF appoints two new directors
MELBOURNE, April 18 AAP - Melbourne businessman John Calvert-Jones and former Test
cricketer Paul Sheahan were today appointed to the Australian Drug Foundation(ADF).
ADF chairman Rick Swinard said the new directors would bring considerable skills and
experience to the operational and strategic focus of the foundation.
The ADF is Australia's leading non-government provider of education and information
services on alcohol and other drugs.
Mr Calvert-Jones is a former chairman and chief executive of Prudential-Bache Securities
and former vice-chairman of the Australian Stock Exchange in Melbourne.
He is currently executive chairman of Seafirst Australia and a board member of the
Centre for Independent Studies.
Mr Sheahan, who played Test cricket for Australia from 1967-74, has been the headmaster
at Melbourne Grammar School since 1995.
He was previously principal of Geelong College for 10 years.
